These terms cover your use of PromptHive ("we", "us", "our") at prompthive.dpdns.org. By browsing the site you accept them. If you do not, please stop using the site — that is the whole of the bargain, and there is nothing else you need to agree to.

What this site is

PromptHive publishes guides, reviews and comparisons of AI tools. Everything here is editorial: our own testing, reading and opinion, published for general information. It is not professional, legal, financial, medical or employment advice, and it is not a substitute for reading a vendor's own documentation and terms before you rely on their product.

Ratings are stated as our opinion rather than as fact, and our method is set out in full on how we review.

Accuracy, and how quickly it decays

AI products change weekly. Prices, free-tier limits, model names and features are checked against the vendor's own pages on the date shown on each review, and we correct what we are told is wrong. We do not promise that anything on the site is complete, current or error-free between those checks, and you should confirm anything that matters — a price especially — with the vendor before acting on it.

Found something wrong? Tell us. Corrections are welcome and we publish them.

Advertising and affiliate links

The site is paid for by advertising and by affiliate links. Some links to vendors earn us a commission if you sign up or buy, at no additional cost to you. This never buys a placement, a ranking or a rating: nothing on this site is for sale, and the watch-outs are published beside the pros whether or not the link is monetised.

Advertising is served by third-party networks whose cookies and data practices are their own. What they collect, and how to opt out of personalised advertising, is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Using our content

The words, reviews, ratings, illustrations and design of PromptHive are ours and are protected by copyright. You are welcome to quote a short extract with a clear credit and a link back. You may not republish articles in whole or in substantial part, present our work as your own, or use it to train a machine-learning model — our robots.txt states the same restriction in the form crawlers read.

Product names, logos and trade marks belong to their owners and appear here for identification only. Their presence implies no endorsement in either direction.

Submitting a tool

Anyone may submit a tool. When you do, you confirm you have the right to send us what you send, and you give us permission to publish it, edit it for length and accuracy, and keep it in our records. Submission is free and buys nothing: every entry is reviewed by a person against the publishedguidelines, most are declined, and a decision comes with a reason. We may decline, edit, unpublish or remove any listing at any time.

Acceptable use

Use the site normally. Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to it, scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other readers, or use it for anything unlawful. We may restrict access if you do.

Links to other sites

We link out constantly — that is what a guide is for. Those sites are not ours: we do not control their content, pricing, security or privacy practices, and a link is not a warranty about any of them. Read their terms before you sign up.

Availability

The site is provided as it is and as it happens to be available. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it — including any page or feature — without notice.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from reliance on anything published here, including any decision to buy or use a tool we have written about. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and continuing to use the site after that means you accept the revised version.
