Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PromptHive ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you visit our website. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We aim to collect as little as possible. We may collect: (a) anonymous usage data such as pages visited, browser type and approximate location, gathered through analytics; and (b) information you voluntarily provide, such as your email address if you subscribe or contact us.
How we use information
- To operate, maintain and improve the website and our guides.
- To send you updates if you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To understand which content is helpful so we can create more of it.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, understand traffic, and (where applicable) serve advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can change your analytics choice at any time via the Cookies link in the footer.
Analytics, and your choice
We count visitors with our own analytics — not Google Analytics, not Plausible, not any third party. Nothing is shared, sold or sent anywhere else.
We ask before we start. Until you choose, nothing is collected and no analytics cookie is set. If you say no, the site works exactly the same and we keep only the fact that you said no, so we do not ask again. You can change your mind at any time using theCookies link in the footer — withdrawing deletes the analytics cookie straight away.
If your browser sends Do Not Track orGlobal Privacy Control, we treat that as a no and do not ask at all.
With your consent we store two random values — one for the visit, one for the browser, kept 30 days — plus the page addresses you viewed, how far you scrolled, roughly how long you were reading, and a coarse idea of your country, device and browser. We never store your IP address, and details like screen size and browser version are reduced to broad groups before they are saved, so they cannot single you out. Page addresses are stored without anything after the?.
Advertising
We may display advertising provided by third-party networks. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to PromptHive and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and you can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Personalised advertising from other vendors can be opted out of at aboutads.info/choices.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links on PromptHive are affiliate links. If you sign up for or purchase a product through them, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. This never influences our recommendations: we only suggest tools we believe are genuinely useful.
Third-party links
Our guides link to external websites and tools. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties and encourage you to review their policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
